170+ scorers let's all leave a tip for studying for the LSAT

by yaktis848 Sat Feb 03, 2024 5:30 am

I wanted to leave a place for people to share tips that they wish they would have known before they started studying.

Here is my tip: Give yourself way more time to study for the LSAT than you think you will need. The LSAT can take a while to truly understand. Give yourself an excessive amount of time to study. For instance, it took me several months to hit even one 170 on a PT. Then it took me several months to consistently score 170. It took me even longer to go from 170 to 175+.

Bonus tip: Find someone that has done well on the LSAT to go over tests with. This can be a friend, study partner, or tutor (if you are looking for tutoring feel free to message me). Their mentality and ideas can quickly rub off on you if you go over tests together.
