BIO

Tony Caldarone brings a 770 GMAT score and a passion for teaching to Manhattan Prep, with over 20 years of experience in teaching and tutoring, including GMAT, LSAT, high-school math, and college business. Tony has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario, and has forsaken his early career path in consulting in favor of teaching and entrepreneurship. Business school lessons on finance and operations have made acquiring and operating motels, rental properties, and an office building a lot less intimidating than would otherwise have been the case.

Speaking of less intimidating, Tony is utterly passionate about applying that effect to the GMAT. As a member of the Manhattan Prep team, Tony has parlayed experience in GMAT question authoring and a ridiculous amount of student practice test analysis into a profound understanding of where the greatest damage is typically suffered on the GMAT, and why it is so much easier than you think to avoid this damage (IF you have an open mind)! Tony gets a little too excited talking about this in class #1. Forgive him.
